I've been retired 25 years but can't quit helping keep "classic" old locomotives running - mostly ALCOs but GEs and EMDs too. Still do some engineering on engine governors and electrical circuits. SAE found me my first job in 1950, teaching automotive technology, then military service (field tests), service engineering and equipment demonstration for ALCO; finally locomotive maintenance and modernization plus design of shop facilities at D&H Rwy. Writing & consulting since. You can't beat engineering for a rewarding career!
