In 1997, Anthony established a forensic engineering firm, now A² Consulting Engineers, providing product failure analysis, auto collision investigations & reconstruction, energy & emissions analysis, equipment and engine failure analysis, vehicle fire cause, crash event data analysis for both passenger vehicles and Heavy-Duty trucks, auto lemon-law related support, and evaluating best business practices. Clients include law firms, the insurance industry, the federal government, and many locally and nationally recognized companies.
Previously, Anthony was Director of Forensic Operations & Sr. Mechanical Engineer at Jensen Hughes, formally CASE Forensics. Prior to CASE Forensics, he was Sr. Project Engineer at Envista Forensics, and also the Regulatory Affairs Director at the California Municipal Utilities Association, where he was responsible for representing the association before the maze of state agencies impacting public energy and water utilities.
Anthony also worked in state government for 18 years at the California Air Resources Board, most recently as Chief of the Research & Economics Studies Branch. Anthony also held several agency-wide positions managing projects and providing technical, regulatory, economic, and policy consultation.
