Join the SAE Speaker Series

**Please note - this opportunity will be done with virtual presentations until further notice.  Presenters will be required to work with SAE HQ to set up a virtual  presentation**

The SAE Section Speaker  Series and Industrial Lecture Series are Programs that reflect on the importance of acquaintanceships and the interchange of needed information between practicing engineers in industry, faculty, students, educational institutions, and the community. These programs are intended to generate such interaction directly, by bringing outstanding practicing engineers to SAE sections  Collegiate chapters at Universities or other SAE owned events.

As part of the SAE Speaker Series, you will have the opportunity to travel across the United States and provide lectures at SAE sections and Collegiate events.

The SAE Speakers Series provides you with:

  • The chance to connect with experts in a variety of fields and professions
  • The opportunity to deliver lectures on unique, industry-relevant topics
  • Reimbursement for your travel expenses to and from lecture sites
  • Additional Honorarium as a thank you for each presentation/lecture

 Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel at least twice per year
  • MUST reside within the Continental United States or Canada

Note: Educators and government employees are not eligible to participate in the Industrial Lecture Series program but are eligible to participate in the Section Speakers Series and other SAE owned events

Advanced (15+ years in industry)
Aerospace
Automotive
Commercial Vehicle
Mid (6-14 years in industry)
Retired

Volunteers Needed:

30 (24 open slots)
