SAE Technical Session Organizers are an integral part of coordinating SAE conferences. Organizers are responsible for moderating technical paper reviews and, with SAE staff, ensuring that authors meet critical deadlines in the paper and session development process. https://www.sae.org/participate/volunteer/organizer-resources

Session Description: This session will showcase subject matter experts talking about successful applications of blockchain in automotive and discuss what to be cognoscente of when applying it to supply chain management, cybersecurity, and other applications.

Blockchain has been widely used in finances to facilitate secure, traceable digital transactions in real time.  This process has now found application in verify vehicle components in real-time, eliminating errors such as data fragmentation as well component tracking.  It can be of even greater relevance when used in conjunction with the Internet of Things (IoT), big data and artificial intelligence (AI).


Attendance at the event is encouraged but not required.

Individuals with experience in
 Supply Chain Management and or Blockchain are encouraged to apply.
