Special Issue on Intelligent Vehicle Dynamics and Control
Intelligent vehicles have become an important topic for both research and development. Vehicle dynamics and control have long been an important cornerstone in mobility, but the intelligent vehicle requires its dynamics to be even more precise, agile, and cooperative. This trend has brought significant new challenges in the field of vehicle dynamics and control. Therefore, to satisfy the emerging requirements, it is now time to employ new and advanced techniques for the modeling and control of intelligent vehicles.
The overall aims of this special issue are two-fold: (1) to provide an up-to-date overview of the challenges relating to the dynamics and control of intelligent vehicles; (2) to offer the advanced methodologies to deal with these challenges. Of particular interest to this special issue are papers devoted to state-of-the-art research and development, as well as future trends in intelligent vehicle dynamics and control. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
